The second group’s short film named Tragedy, unfortunately didn’t make it past the screenwriting phase. I thought it would be a waste if no one at least read the script. It’s funny, modern, has a convoluted plot and a mind-blowing ending no one understands. So, it’s basically a J.J. Abrams film.

But enough chit-chat! Without further ado, I present you the Tragedy screenplay:
100 – EXT. – SCHOOL – MORNING – 100
100.1: Entrance to the school building.
100.2: Plaque which shows the name of our school.
Chill background music which fits the school theme.
CUT TO:
101 – INT. – SCHOOL – MORNING – 101
101.1: IVANA’s sad face while zooming out to introduce PETER, VLADO and MARINA laughing at IVANA.
101.2:
VLADO
Is that a new wig!?
101.3:
MARINA
Be careful the wig might take off your actual hair!
101.4:
PETER
OK, my turn. IVANA, your hair is so-
Peter’s joke gets interrupted by off screen MIHAELA’s scream.
101.5: Michelle is approaching the group.
101.6:
IVANA
Mihaela, what happened!?
101.7:
MIHAELA
(responds in a fit of rage)
WHERE THE FUCK IS MY HAIR???
102 – INT. – BATHROOM – EVENING – 102
102.1: Mihaela is brushing her teeth in the bathroom which we can see in it’s entirety.
102.2: Mihaela is brushing her teeth, suddenly she hears a sound and gets startled. She pauses, listening. There’s that sound again.
100.3: Mihaela rushes to the door, slams them shut and locks them.
100.4: She continues to brush her teeth cheerfully. (sound effect: creepy music starts to play). Creepy music intensifies, Mihaela looks up at the mirror, notices a tremor on the curtains – JUMPSCARE – bathtub curtains gets pulled by a hand.
CUT TO:
103 – INT. EMPTY GREY ROOM IN AN ABANDONED BUILDING – EVENING – 103
103.1: Mihaela is waking up in an empty gray room on the ground. She sits up.
103.2: She grabs her head because her head hurts. She realizes she’s touching bare skin and starts freaking but camera cuts before she screams.
CUT TO:
104 – INT. – SCHOOL – MORNING – 104
104.1: Ivana, Peter, Marina and Vlado are laughing at Mihaela.
CUT TO: Spongebob-like scene: 2 hours later
104.2: Ivana, Peter, Marina and Vlado are still laughing.
104.3: Vlado is laughing but his face starts to get serious.
VLADO
Oh my god! What if there’s a serial hair-cutter?! WHAT IF WE LOSE OUR HAIR?!?
104.4:
IVANA
GUYS!!! We have to find out who did this, I already don’t have that much hair!! I AM NOT GOING BALD!!!!
104.5:
MARINA
OK, OK. Calm down, we’ll figure it out.
105 – INT. – SCHOOL’S HALLWAY – MORNING – 105
105.1: People are passing by in the hallway.
105.2: Vladoand Ivana are nervously looking around, suddenly a person passes by in front of them, after they pass we see IVana and Vlado clutching their hair. They relax after the person passes. School bell. Vlado gets up with his backpack. Ivana notices a letter has fell from it.
105.3: Ivana is reading the letter.
IVANA
Vlado, what is this?
105.4: Vlado and Ivana are reading the letter.
105.5: The letter has an address.
105.6: Peter and Marina arrive.
105.7:
MARINA
What are you guys reading?
105.8:
IVANA
Vlado got a creepy letter.
105.9: Vlado looks up the address on his phone.
105.10: Vlado’s phone is in front of his face. He lowers it.
VLADO
(nonchalantly)
We’re going right?
105.11:
IVANA
No! … Hell, no!
105.12: Peter is grinning, nodding his head.
PETER
(nodding his head smirkingly)
We’re going.
106 – EXT. – ABANDONED BUILDING – AFTERNOON – 106
106.1: Marina, Vlado, Peter and Ivana are arriving to a creepy building with creepy music in the background.
106.2:
MARINA
Never mind. This is too creepy. We’re going home!
Vlado slaps her on the head.
106.3:
VLADO
Bitch, shut the fuck up! We’re going!
106.4: Characters are searching for the entrance. Ivana finds a secret passage and acts surprised.
IVANA
Guys!
106.5 (FOUND FOOTAGE-esque style of filming): Ivana is filming with her phone. Everyone else enters first through the secret passage, Ivana last. When they enter, they admire the building. Eventually they arrive at a steel door.
MARY
This looks super weird!
VLADO
OK… Are you ready guys?
Everyone else enters first, Ivana last. When they enter the doors slam shut.
Everyone else starts screaming and running away from the door. Ivana turns around to see the doors shut.
IVANA
Guys wait for me.
Jessica slams into a wall that suddenly appeared.
IVANA
Where the hell did this wall come from?
She falls on her ass with the camera. We see her feet.
She’s looking around. Walls everyhere.
She gets back to the door. The doors can’t open. Ivana starts to bang on the door with her fists.
CUT TO:
107 – EXT. – OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING – 107
107.1: (start filming normally) Everyone except Ivana manages to escape through some other exit.
107.2:
MARY
Where’s Ivana!?
All of a sudden we hear a loud scream.
CUT TO:
108 INT. – IVANA’S LOCATION IN THE BUILDING AT THE STEEL GATE – 108
108.1 FOUND FOOTAGE:
Ivana is screaming and banging her fists on a door.
She turns around and the wall is gone.
IVANA
Am I going crazy?!
She starts running.
CUT TO:
109 – EXT. – GROUP’S LOCATION OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING – 109
109.1(NORMAL FILMING): Ivana exits the building and joins her friends and screams:
IVANA
LET’S LEAVE THIS PLACE!!! NOW!
110 – INT. – MCDONALD’S – AFTERNOON – 110
110.1: The gang is at a table in McDonald’s talking.
VLADO
That was seriously fucked up. Why is all of this happening???
MARINA
I don’t know. Let’s just be careful.
IVANA
You’re right.
111 – INT. – IVANA’S HOUSE – EVENING – 111
111.1: Mary is sitting on a bed in their pajamas. Ivana is in the bathroom.
MARINA
I was looking forward to this sleepover. It’s going to be to die for.
IVANA
Totally! Be right back.
Ivana closes the bathroom door.
111.2: Maina taps her knees and looks up of boredom. Marina starts looking around the room stopping at the wardrobe with a terrified look. (DUN DUN DUUUN sound effect)
111.3: A piece of hair is hanging from the drawer. She opens the cabinet and inside there’s a McNugget wrapped around Mihaela’s lost hair.
111.4: She takes it and hides it in her bag as Ivana exits the bathroom.
IVANA
What you doin’?
MARINA
Nothing!
As she pulls up her sleeve to cover the flock of hair.
MARINA
I gotta go to the bathroom!
Ivana makes a suspicious face. She starts looking around the area where Marina was sitting.
She looks at her wardrobe and notices the hair is missing.
111.5: Wardrobe with a fully closed drawer.
111.6: Ivana smirks.
CUT TO:
111.7: Ivana is stabbing Marina who’s on the floor.
111.8: Marina is dying on the floor.
MARINA
(As she’s dying)
Hoe what the fuck!?
111.9:
IVANA
Get down bitch!
111.10: Ivana stomps Marina’s face.
112 – INT. – HOSPITAL – MORNING – 112
112.1: Mihaela is lying on a hospital bed. A nurse is checking Mihaela’s IV. After checking she looks behind her to make sure no one is looking. She makes a selfie with her out of boredom.
DOCTOR (O.S.)
Nurse! What the hell are you doing!?
112.2:
DOCTOR
Stop goofing around and go check on the patient in room 12.
112.3: Nurse is handing over the carton.
NURSE
(annoyed)
Okaaaaay, fiiiiiiiiiiine…
She hands the carton to the doctor as she leaves.
NURSE
By the way, are you going on a Shawn Mendes concert?
112.4: Mihaela gasps for air as she wakes up. She grabs the doctor by his coat.
MIHAELA
(excited)
Mendes!? Where is he!?!?
112.5:
DOCTOR
Calm down because I have some bad news for you…
112.6:
MIHAELA
What is it?
112.7:
DOCTOR
You have leukemia… You have 2 months left to live…
112.8:
MIHAELA
Is that why I lost my hair?
112.9:
DOCTOR
No, that’s because Ivana stole it. She’s a serial hair-cutter.

MIHAELA
What?
